Asphalt Milling & Grinding

ASPHALT MILLING & GRINDING

Your local asphalt paving contractor serving Residential, Commercial and Municipal clients. No job is too big or small!

Asphalt grinding or milling is one of the most common forms of asphalt reconstruction available. Full-depth asphalt grinding allows the trained professionals at Green Valley Paving to remove and replace the entire cross-section of an asphalt driveway, sidewalk, road or other surface as quickly and efficiently as possible. If your asphalt is in need of a major reconstructive project, and time is a factor, than asphalt grinding may be the best solution.

By using the latest technology to perform asphalt grinding, the process of replacing your asphalt is streamlined. It minimizes excess steps—no need to jackhammer the pavement perimeter, excavate the pavement with a backhoe, disturb the soil’s subgrade and so forth. Our equipment can remove asphalt to your desired depth, allowing access to the subbase and replacement with new asphalt. It’s fast and less disruptive than most other methods.

It’s also environmentally friendly, as the asphalt rubble byproduct doesn’t need to be just shipped to a landfill. It can be processed on site, either to be mixed back into a new pavement or to shore up unstable subgrade. That means it’s better for the environment than wasteful disposal.

FAQs

We advise waiting at least twenty-four hours before driving on newly paved asphalt, mainly in warm weather. Asphalt paving needs to cool down to set. Once the asphalt paving in your parking lot has rightly cured, you can then drive on it.

Yes, we can. Green Valley Paving also offers resurfacing and overlay services. Anyway, this solution will be dependent on your parking lot present situation. If your parking lot has surface-level cracks and potholes, a patch or overlay work can simply restore your parking lot to a brand-new look. If your lot has deep damage and cracks, an overlay may not be the top option.
